Sorry for being MIA yet again. I was on work related international trip for 10 days. Quite hectic but super rewarding. (still jet lagged though). On home front I was super impressed with how my husband, in my absence , seamlessly managed cooking, cleaning, diapering, laundry, grocery shopping, homework, weekend lessons, his own work and beyond with absolute perfection while still heading the 'fun department' at home. Hats off to this guy I married. He has a record of stepping up when it matters the most. (other times- meh!)
Reviewing on the blog today is this ultra crisp yet delicate look I donned for one of the meetings during the trip (though I carried a different bag that day).
With cooler temperatures we are swapping neons with deep navy, yellow, mustard and pumpkin colors. But one color I am not quite ready to part ways with is pink. I just unapologetically love pink! There I said it! And when it comes to work attire, I always need some subtle infusion of life that only amped up pink hues can render. Believe me, you can never go wrong with pink even if you mix bubblegum pink, berry hues and rose with pastels to look like a gorgeous blush palette. There ! It perfectly did wonders for me :)
This cute Banana Republic scallop top comes in 3 shades and I chose to sport it in blush pink. This sharply tailored blouse is true to size and offers burst of femininity to an otherwise dim palette. I paired it with this cute Ann Taylor floral pencil skirt which can be easily paired with a darker blouse or sweater and boots for a perfect fall look. (this skirt is sadly sold out, but I am recommending something similar below). Completed my look with these gorgeous as well as super versatile Ann Taylor Odette Patent Leather nude Pumps and my favorite Fendi sunnies. And finally my lovely Tory Burch clutch added a pop of rose pink that this outfit needed.
Btw, did you know that most fashion labels such a DVF, Kate Spade and Mark Jacobs are embracing flirty pink hues for Fall and also recommending we wear our pink fashions through winter. I am all in! Are you?
Ofcourse you are! This Fall make sure you wear your blush palette to work and beyond.
