I am not as sad to say a final goodbye to summer as there is plenty of excitement around. Infact I am super amped to welcome harvest festivals and pumpkin themed activities. There is so much to do in and around Seattle during Fall that our family calendar is practically booked through November. Oktoberfest at Leavenworth, visit to Cougar Mountain Zoo, petting the animals at Fox Hollow Farm, hiking their awesome trails, a day at Remlinger Farms, trick-or-treating on Halloween, carving pumpkins and baking pies with kids, with rake in hand- building some epic leaf jumping piles in the nearest park, driving to Whistler to see vibrant reds and oranges to brilliant golds and yellows, while also celebrating some Indian festivals, biggest being Diwali (the festival of lights). No wonder we love Fall!
Needless to say I am keeping my fashion quotient high reflecting the audacity of the Fall colors. You need to be bold to carry off the deluge of fiery red, orange, yellow and blue that ruled the runway during NYFW 2016 and I sure am a big proponent of fearless experimentation. That is why I added this gorgeous bright hibiscus J crew coat and this cute tie neck clover print dress from Gap to my Haute Palette (Psst! the dress is on sale and under $60). With gorgeous colorful print, this dress fits like a glove as it is true to size for my petite frame. With straight silhouette and slightly flared skirt, it makes my waist look smaller and cute. I preferred keeping the tie untied :) as I wanted to highlight my delicate collar bones. The J crew coat completely complemented the colors on the dress. I always get a ton on complements whenever I wear this sharply tailored coat. J crew clothes always have a clean sophisticated finish and this coat epitomizes that. Totally worth the price, this one is a keeper. I paired my feisty palette with some neutrals for that ultra chic and sophisticated vibe. My gorgeous Ann Taylor Odette Pumps, oversize round Tory Burch sunnies and the Pebbled leather Tory Burch bag in light oak color were perfect neutral accessories for this audacious red palette
Ladies! Audacity is the watchword this Fall. Strut and slay in that fiesty red palette.
